I traveled with my air force family, until dad retired and moved to Florida east coast. In sixty-eight I was in the eighth grade. It was quite an amazing time. In 1975 I moved to Colorado and attended a technical college for a couple years, before discovering mountains and taking extended winter break, for a ski-season, it lasted about nine years.

Cheyenne Canon became my mountain biking paradise when I moved back to Colorado Springs. So many great trails, it is truly a magical place and is where the series is being created. I now own the Cheyenne Canon Inn (www.cheyennecanoninn.com) locate at the mouth of the canyon.

Hot yoga is my new toy; there are not as many high speed egg-beaters as there were in my earlier passions such as skiing, mtn. biking. And I’ve never had a tougher workout than the Bikram style, when it is cooking, and Rita Ann is teaching, truly awesome! 

Cheyenne is the last of the Five still on this side of the veil. I brought a Bassett Hound home from the pound for Valentines Day 2008. Lyla, the pooch, was pregnant and now we have Duke, Dot, Lyla, and Cheyenne, who is living on borrowed time, making every day even more precious..
