In the first book of the series, Cheyenne is tutored in the use of the Seven Stones that he found by the Ilakatie, a tribe of Native Americans who have the amazing ability to shape shift into Bigfoot. They are also the Keepers of the Legend, and the Guardians of the Phantom Canyon.

O’gram is their extremely able medicine woman and when she hears of Cheyenne’s discovery from the ravens, their trusted allies for many years, she knows that finally the One that the Legend foretold has come forth. O’gram teaches the breathing exercises and how to utilize the stones properly to access the kenergy to Cheyenne, his brother, Tip, best friend - The Wiens, Blizzard and Palmer Parker – the seniority of the Five that Cheyenne will eventually lead against the dark ones.

Unfortunately, Ru’ala, the Queen of Maletoc, the Dark Castle, has other ideas. The shadow masons pluck the bricks from the swirling eddies and currents of evil that hover angrily around the monstrous castle. The second book, The Mist of Maletoc, will be released in the summer of 2010, and the third, The Dawn of Stone, will be released the summer of 2011.
